Spring reset
Dressing for the shift
Spring has been flirting with us, showing up and then disappearing again, but I’m confident it’s coming back for good. And in time for this much-anticipated commitment, I’ve rounded up the key pieces that I think are worth knowing about.
Butter yellow is always good for accessories and works so nicely with denim. Love these Reppeto ballet flats.
Or this whole butter yellow outfit from Massimo Dutti, or break it down and wear the skirt with a tank top (love this simple Halter) and sandals, plus a little cardigan.
A typical outfit you’ll find me in this spring: a good T-shirt ( I like these ones too), I always size up as I prefer it to be slouchy. A good pair of jeans, I like distressed denim only when it’s done well, and some good sandals with a great raffia bag.
And if i’m cold i’m adding this
And on the subject of transitional jackets, these are a few to keep on your radar..1, 2, 3, 4, (All Zara).
Zara does a good spring pallet
I’m into being playful on the bottom and simple on the top, with ballet flats or good sandals.. 1,2,3,4
That’s my spring reset, at least for now, keeping it simple and centred around good basics I wear day in, day out. More on www.theyellowworld.co.uk x
